DR. JOHN McEACHIN
We are delighted to announce the return of Dr John McEachin from Autism Partnership USA to officially open ABA Today 2017 with his keynote presentation "Keeping ABA Progressive as a Science and as an Intervention for Autism".
John is a psychologist with over 35 years experience in behavioural intervention with children with autism as well as adolescents and adults with a wide range of developmental disabilities. He undertook graduate training under Professor Ivar Lovaas at UCLA on the Young Autism Project. During his 11 years at UCLA, he served in various roles including Clinic Supervisor, Research and Teaching Assistant, and Acting Director. His research has included the long-term follow-up study of young autistic children who received intensive behavioural treatment, which was published in 1993.
John has lectured around the world, has assisted in the development of autism treatment and training programs, and consults to numerous families and agencies. He is co-founder of Autism Partnership, an international early intervention agency assisting children and families and has co-authored numerous books on ABA topics.
